whuooiii!
nice to know you are visiting my blog again..
well in this nice falling season. i guess i just had a nice experience in my campus. those are about my feeling when i joined the translation class for the first time and also my experience when i got my first intermediate listening and transactional speech.
OK, let me go on with the job in hand. yesterday i got my translation class. that was a fun class i guess. i like being there, even though for the first time i thought that that would be my boring subject and tiring subject. yes it was about doing some interferences from other people minds which was taking my mind and my free time. fortunately, those opinions were wrong, the class was so enjoy colored by the jokes of my lecturer; Mr. Chosa. firstly, i thought that i would be the target of his naughty, you know he is so funny and he always be success to make the class so cheerful. some time i don't like his jokes cz many times his jokes is not really funny, some times insulting i guess. but yesterday his jokes were funny, i liked all jokes he conveyed to the students. about the situation of the class, i could say that the situation was cordial enough. the seniors were so coop with the junior (me and my friend; lice), they never tried to push me or decreasing my self esteem (hopefully this thing will be always exist ever after).
then about my listening class. that was a shocking class i think. especially the materials of the course. you know, the materials was so different with the previous class materials (basic and pre-intermediate listening). the record did sound a bit faster than the previous listening courses, made me a bit shock when i had to answer all questions based on the record, not only me who got the problem but also my friends. they seemed so confused to know the main idea of the monologue. one thing that i like from the course is the lecturer. the lecturer is my favorite lecturer; Mrs. Mita. she is a nice woman and the most important thing i like is her accent. yes her accent, i really get impressed when i heard her accent, it was so exotic (i don't know how to say), perhaps she got the accent when she lived in America, that's why the accent sounds so American. do i have to go to America to get the same accent? i am a bit skeptic to say YES, cz in fact that there are many people are able to speak in english well with the perfect accent without going abroad. but it's probably NO cz in the other hand, if you want to learn about something perfectly, that will be good if you go to the place where the science is from. so if i want to learn about english perfectly, i have to go to GB or US or at least i have to go to other countries which are using english as their daily language.
about my transactional speech class. actually the transactional class is one of the class which is belonged to the chain of speech class. so there are many speech class in my campus, and usually i get one speech class in one semester. thus it's not a weird class for me cz actually i have got the experince in speech class, the differences are only the name, the lecturer, the material, and the hardness of the materials, but systematically the principle of this class still same, "SPEAKING". one thing that i like from this course, that is the lecturer. the lecturer is the native speaker of english, she was Rosemary Margaret Duffy (nice name I thought) but she asked the student to call her as Sr. Rachel. yes, she was a sister of FCJ. if you don't know about FCJ, that will be OK if you find it by your self in the internet, i don't want to share it to cz i don't know exactly the FCJ itself, i just know a bit information about it and i am hesitate to share it to you (i am afraid about sharing a false information). she was nice and patient i guess, i could feel her patient from the sound of her speech. it was weak but strong, it means that even though the sound was weak but we could feel her firm. i couldn't make any information again about her; she is too beautiful to be told.
yups, those are my today's experiences. i couldn't feel better to be the witness of this beautiful day. thank you so much for coming my blog. C U...
